Great to meet you!

Hi my name is Jennifer and I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Florida and Massachusetts.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming. Whether you're an individual, a couple, or part of a family seeking support, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to help. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family conflict, parenting challenges, divorce, job-related stress, and burnout. Life can be complicated, and sometimes we need a space to pause, reflect, and realign. My approach is personalized to meet your unique needs and goals. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, supportive, and real. I strive to create an environment where you can be open, honest, and truly heard without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward understanding what’s getting in the way and build a path forward that feels authentic and empowering. My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, personalized approach to therapy that begins with truly understanding your unique needs and goals. I often incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns that may be holding you back. This practical, hands-on method can empower you with tools to better manage your emotions and behaviors. Depending on what feels right for you, I may also integrate mindfulness practices or explore other supportive strategies, including, when appropriate, coordinating with providers around medication. Throughout our work together, your progress and well-being remain my top priorities. We’ll identify the challenges you’re facing and build meaningful, effective strategies to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other and creating a comfortable, supportive space for you to share what's bringing you in. I’ll take time to learn about your background, current challenges, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out right away. We’ll also go over any relevant history, discuss your goals, and talk through how I can best support you. I’ll explain my approach and answer anyquestions you might have so you feel informed and empowered about the process. Most importantly, this first session is a chance for us to begin building a trusting relationship and make sure it feels like a good fit. By the end of our session, we’ll collaborate on a plan moving forward—whether that’s setting some initial goals, identifying areas of focus, or simply continuing the conversation. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about the path ahead. Helping clients achieve goals begins with building a strong, collaborative relationship based on trust and open communication. I work with each client to clarify their values, identify what truly matters to them, and develop specific, meaningful, and realistic goals. This often involves breaking down larger, long-term aspirations into smaller, manageable steps that feel achievable. I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies to help clients gain insight, develop new skills, and overcome barriers. I also emphasize regular progress reviews, adjusting goals as needed to reflect growth and changing circumstances. Throughout the process, I support clients in building confidence and resilience, celebrating their progress, and navigating setbacks with self-compassion. Ultimately, I aim to empower clients to take ownership of their journey and develop the tools they need to maintain long-term success.
