Great to meet you!

I'm a therapist who believes healing doesn’t have to feel cold, clinical, or one-size-fits-all. I show up as a real person—warm, curious, a little unconventional—and I create a space where you can do the same. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work together to make sense of your story in a way that actually feels meaningful to you.

My background is as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work, focused on mental health and wellness with a military track, and I have experience working with a wide range of populations—from young children (as young as 3) to older adults, including foster youth, teens, and young adults. I specialize in complex PTSD and working with layered, complex diagnoses. I’m passionate about helping people understand their symptoms in a way that reduces shame and challenges stigma—because often, what looks like “something wrong” is actually something that once helped you survive. You’re not broken—you adapted. Together, we can begin to understand those patterns with compassion and create new ways of relating to yourself that feel safer, more grounded, and more like you. I especially enjoy supporting folks who may feel like they don’t quite fit into traditional boxes—people who are introspective, creative, alternative, or still figuring out who they are and how they want to move through the world.

Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding you. We’ll go at your pace, with honesty, humor when it fits, and a lot of respect for everything that’s gotten you here.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is genuine, a little outside the box, and deeply invested in your growth, I’d love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and flexible. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, which means we might explore the stories you’ve been carrying, reconnect with different parts of yourself, and also build practical tools that help you feel better in your day-to-day life. I care deeply about helping you strengthen self-trust, self-compassion, and a sense of identity that feels authentic—not forced.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a space that feels welcoming and collaborative. I focus on active listening and thoughtful follow-up questions so I can begin to understand not just what’s going on, but the bigger picture of who you are and what’s brought you here.

We’ll start with some gentle conversation (sometimes even a light icebreaker) to help ease any initial nerves—because starting therapy can feel a little awkward, and that’s completely okay. From there, we’ll begin to explore what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We may touch on some of the harder parts of your story, but at a pace that feels manageable and not overwhelming.

A big part of the first session is also about building our connection. The therapist-client relationship matters, and I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and comfortable being yourself. You’re also getting a feel for me—how I show up, how I work, and whether it feels like a good fit.

You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Just showing up is more than enough—we’ll take it from there, together.
