Great to meet you!

Welcome! Thank you for considering me as someone you would like to work with. I will strive to understand you and the systems you navigate. We all carry various identities that impact how we view the world and how the world views us. I have extensive experience working with the Latinx community, issues pertaining to immigration, and offer sessions in English and Spanish. In my training, I specialized in health psychology and have experience with oncology and ob-gyne focuses, and mood disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe therapy can be a fulfilling experience that offers a safe place to discuss challenges as well as positives/triumphs to learn more about yourself. I want to help you identify patterns of thinking and behavior so that you can decide what might no longer be serving you and make associated changes. Let's explore ways you can gain insight into how to help yourself in the present moment but also heal from previous experiences to help you be your authentic self.

What you can expect from our first session

I use an integrative approach that involves concrete problem-solving, introspection, and creativity in how we set and accomplish therapy goals.
