Great to meet you!

I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from John F. Kennedy University in 2013. Prior to receiving my master’s degree, I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology (2010) at San Jose State University and my associate’s degree in liberal arts with a concentration in behavioral science at DeAnza College. I have been licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences since 2019 and have been working with individuals, children, and families in different settings (private practice, court child custody recommending counselor, psychiatric inpatient hospitals, in custody, outpatient psychiatric clinics, counseling centers, school based, and crisis assessment and stabilization) since 2012. I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).Please feel free to request additional information regarding the level of expertise or training at any time during the evaluation process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, client centered and direct. I like to support my client's in achieving a better quality of life. The length of therapy is determined by the client's needs and whether it is short-term or long-term. The therapy I like to provide client's is insight and self-awareness.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect their first appointment to be getting to know each other. I will ask and get to understand what they would like to achieve in counseling and where they currently are in the change they want to see. Tranformation and Inner Growth are my two descriptions.
