Great to meet you!

I’m a psychiatrist who takes a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. I am board-certified with specialized training in both addiction and forensic psychiatry. I completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. I then completed my psychiatry residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where I received extensive hands-on experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, both acute and chronic. I also completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Rutgers University, further deepening my expertise in complicated psychiatric disorders in a diverse population.

My approach to therapy

I believe that compassionate, evidence-based care should always meet people where they are. I specialize in treating individuals navigating mental health challenges, substance addiction, or both, helping them find their footing and move forward with confidence. I am especially passionate about making mental health care feel human, hopeful, and tailored to each person’s story.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a thoughtful, medication-focused approach to care. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can openly discuss your symptoms, goals, and treatment options. My role is to help you better understand how psychiatric medications can support your mental health and to ensure that any treatment plan is safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs.

I strive for practical, evidence-based care that leads to greater emotional resilience, improved daily functioning, and a stronger sense of self. Whether you’re seeking support for a specific issue or looking to build long-term strategies for wellness, we’ll work together to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
