Great to meet you!

I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and supported. Reaching out for therapy can be difficult, and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, and challenges related to cultural identity and immigration experiences. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and understand the importance of feeling comfortable expressing yourself in the language that feels most natural to you.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I believe that while our past experiences can shape us, they do not have to define our future. Together, we can work toward healing, building resilience, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful change.

Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, processing painful experiences, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you throughout your journey.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and respect. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, gaining insight, and developing the tools needed to navigate life's challenges.

My approach is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, recognizing that our life experiences, relationships, family dynamics, culture, and environment all influence how we think, feel, and interact with the world. I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and solution-focused techniques.

I believe that therapy should not only help clients understand the root causes of their struggles but also provide practical skills that can be applied in everyday life. Together, we work to identify patterns, build resilience, strengthen coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, I strive to meet you where you are and help you move toward your goals at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and better understand what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant life experiences, personal strengths, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. I understand that beginning therapy can feel uncomfortable or overwhelming, so I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Together, we will begin identifying your goals and discussing a plan for moving forward. While meaningful change takes time, many clients leave the first session with a better understanding of their concerns, increased clarity about next steps, and a sense of hope about the therapeutic process.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My r
