Great to meet you!

"Life is a journey and you hold the map". My favorite part about being a counselor is building rapport with my clients supporting them in their healing journey. I believe change happens when you have a safe space to share your story and feel heard. Together we can explore personal issues that feel too difficult for you to manage alone.

I have been working in Behavioral Health for 7 years. I have experience working with a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. I have a trauma informed approach to counseling. I feel it is important to listen to my client's story and meet them where they're at. I help my clients identify strengths, values and natural supports that facilitate healing and growth. I work with adolescent-aged clients through adults.

My approach to therapy

My areas of strength include treating mood disorders, depression, anxiety, panic, stress management, ADHD, grief, trauma, and parenting. I utilize evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and Gottman Method techniques.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is all about getting to know each other and building rapport. I'll ask some questions about your history and experiences, and I invite you to ask me questions as well.
