Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm glad you are here! I have a Masters in Professional Counseling and have provided counseling services for over 7 years. I work with high-achieving adults and couples who are navigating burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, relationship stress, communication difficulties, life transitions, and work-life imbalance. I have a particular passion for supporting professional Black women, while maintaining an inclusive and affirming space for individuals and couples from all backgrounds.

In couples counseling, I support partners who want to strengthen communication, rebuild emotional connection, navigate conflict more effectively, and better understand the patterns impacting their relationship. Whether you're feeling disconnected, overwhelmed by recurring arguments, struggling with trust, or simply wanting to grow together more intentionally, therapy can provide space for clarity, healing, and meaningful change

My approach to therapy

Clients describe me as calm, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I bring a balanced mix of warmth and realness to each session. I use plain language, metaphors, and even a little humor when appropriate to help make the work feel accessible. Whether you're someone who needs space to process or prefers structured feedback, I’ll meet you where you are- with honesty and care. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a supportive, judgment-free environment. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, your personal and relational history, current stressors, and your goals for treatment. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges so we can begin identifying meaningful areas of focus. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we might work together and what next steps may look like.
