Great to meet you!

NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

My name is Jessica Parks and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health including work with children, adolescents, adults and groups in a variety of settings. My well-rounded comprehensive experience has helped me to develop a niche and specialty for those who struggle with their self-esteem and self-worth which can lead to anxiety, depression and many other life problems.

My approach to therapy

Feeling like you’re not good enough? It can be overwhelming to feel this way, and it’s common for people to struggle with these kinds of thoughts and feelings. The trouble is, it can get in the way of achieving meaningful goals in our lives. Many people choose to avoid these thoughts and feelings which can lead to unfulfilling relationships, unrewarding careers and other mental health problems such as anxiety or depression. It’s exhausting trying to live up to an unattainable standard, right?

What you can expect from me

My hope is to assist in fostering change in your desired area(s) of life. My job is to be your guide and support through understanding the nature of these thoughts and beliefs. Through meaningful exploration of your life, we can identify the origin of your thought and belief patterns. Once the patterns are identified, we can begin the process of changing them and develop skills to aid in adapting to change.

You don't have to do this alone!
