Great to meet you!

Being a teen today can feel incredibly overwhelming. As a parent, it can be so painful to watch your child struggle and not know how to support them. You might be noticing anxiety, changes in mood, or your child starting to pull away, and feeling unsure about what to do next.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m Jessie, a licensed therapist with over 13 years of experience working with teens and families through individual and family counseling.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma sensitive, compassionate, and rooted in family connection. I am easy to talk to, and committed to providing a nonjudgmental space where you’ll feel understood and supported. I work closely with teens and parents to navigate the challenges of adolescence. I help teens feel comfortable expressing themselves, while helping parents better understand their child’s experience and how to truly help. Together, we can explore what has been working, what has not, and identify meaningful changes you’re excited about.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will gather background information you feel comfortable sharing.

I’ll ask clarifying questions to get a clearer understanding of what you hope to get out of therapy. The first session is also a time to discuss confidentiality and ask any questions you may have about me and/or the therapy process. I will take time to learn your communication style and preferences so that our work together is personalized right from the beginning.
