Great to meet you!

I'm glad you're here! I work with clients from young adulthood-late adulthood moving through big shifts: a major life change, the loss of someone or something that mattered, or a relationship that's grown painful or unclear. These life events tend to scramble your footing and stability. Much of what I do is help you shake off limiting beliefs and feelings to regain your footing.

Therapeutic Approach: Reflective · Collaborative · Unhurried. We move at a pace that lets real understanding take hold, and I treat you as the expert on your own life. My job is to think alongside you.

What clients often feel before we start: People usually come to me when they've been managing something for a while and the managing has stopped working.

What drew me to this work: I'm drawn to the idea that healing and growth are already in clients, often blocked by experiences that never got fully processed. A lot of my work uses EMDR, which rests on that same premise: given the right conditions and support, the mind moves toward adaptation and resolution on its own. Before we go anywhere difficult, we build the footing for it with a few reliable tools and a sense that you can stay grounded even when hard material surfaces. Watching someone reach the point where a memory or a pattern finally loosens its grip, is why I enjoy this work.

My biggest strength is discernment and attunement: I listen closely to the patterns under the surface. I'll help you slow things down enough to see what's actually driving the moment. Pacing is part of the work.

Outside the office: My family and time outdoors are what keep me steady and energized. I swim, I read, and I seek out places and people that reset me. That's the same grounding I bring into the room with you.

My approach to therapy

I help adults navigate change, grief, and relationship strain; the goal being steadier footing and a fuller sense of yourself. The work is practical and supportive. For clients who want it, we can also weave your faith into the process.

What you can expect from me

The first meeting is about getting to know you, what's bringing you in, what you're hoping for, and what matters to you. It's not deep work or a long-term commitment. You can expect to be heard, respected, and met where you are while you figure out the best path forward.
