Great to meet you!

Psychologist since 2010 w/ experience in community mental health, school settings, private practice, & integrated healthcare. I help inds across the lifespan who experience difficulties with interpersonal relationships (family, parent-child, intimate); chronic health issues (health psychology); self-esteem; school; motivation; attention; life transitions (child to adult, parenting, caring for aging parents, late adulthood); anxiety; depression; & difficulties related to intergenerational trauma.

My approach to therapy

My treatment approach is collaborative, integrative, informative, strength-based, encouraging, solution-focused, trauma-informed, and biopsychosocial. I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities. I attempt to understand where my clients are in their process of change. Additionally, my flexible treatment style allows me to adjust my approach to meet my client's needs.

What you can expect from me

Participating in psychotherapy can feel intimidating & vulnerable. I'm hoping that my unbiased & compassionate presence will help you feel more comfortable w/ the process. I'll guide you thru each session, including helping you to identify the goals & outcomes you hope to achieve. I'll help you identify & change unhelpful patterns. I'll also reinforce your strengths & what is already going well for you. I'll provide you with strategies to help you manage the challenges that you're facing.
