Great to meet you!

I come with a wealth of knowledge in counseling services for both children, adults, and geriatric patients in a variety of clinical levels of care with over 12+ years of experience.

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in Counseling from Lander University in 2008.

I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Community Counseling from Webster University in 2011. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Counseling Supervisor, Additions Counselor for the state of South Carolina. I am also a Master Addiction Counselor.

I provide individual, family, and some couples counseling with patients typically 5+years and older who need assistance with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, interpersonal, intrapersonal, behavioral issues and stress using telehealth visits.

I am dedicated to embracing my philosophy of treatment. I believes through increased awareness, willingness, kindness to yourself and others, strong communication, and acceptance of what is and what can be that you can find healing.

I hope that together we can develop a clear counseling services plan of care for your life that inspires joy, health, self-esteem, communication, and healthy relationships using evidence-based techniques.

I offer evening and weekend appointments to help you begin your journey into wellness without delay.

If you are interested in beginning your journey into wellness, contact me.

My approach to therapy

I use a collective approach of evidence based therapeutic models to develop goals to relieve stress, anxiety, and depression. However, my primary therapeutic approach is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Together we can develop a clear comprehensive wellness plan for your life that inspires happiness, healthy relationships, and success.

What you can expect from me

Patients are expected to complete intake documentation and return to me prior to initial appointment visit at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to their visit.

Patients are expected to arrive at least ten (10) minutes early for their scheduled visit.

During our initial session I will gather information to complete a Biopsychosocial Assessment with takes approximately sixty (60) to ninety (90) mins. During which I will discuss in detail presenting problems, issues, discuss treatment recommendations and complete our initial treatment plan if I am an appropriate clinical fit for services.
