Great to meet you!

I have been in practice for over 30 years working with adults, adolescents and couples in private practice and hospital settings. I consult with parents on childhood concerns. My practice focuses on mood and anxiety disorders, stress, trauma, and life transitions; post-retirement and relevance in later life. My approach to facilitating change is direct dialogue with patients utilizing concrete and clear strategies for change.

My approach to therapy

Seeking therapy usually comes at a vulnerable time in one's life. The work of therapy and the therapeutic relationship is to uncover each individual's potential to lead a more fulfilling life. My process is to work with clients in a practical, reliable and supportive environment to better understand and resolve their life challenges. My approach is direct, warm, and affirming.

What you can expect from me

Clients will have an opportunity to utilize the therapy space to gain a better understanding of themselves and the choices they make. My goal is for clients to feel that their concerns have been heard, understood, and an alternative path charted. We will explore ways in which thoughts and feelings may affect one's life in negative ways and may explore historical causes that have led to current difficulties. Both approaches can lead to positive change resulting in greater life satisfaction.
