Great to meet you!

Finding the right person to help you on your mental health journey is a big decision. I'm Johanna Kolodziej, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 25 years of experience in the field. I've had the privilege of working in various settings, from inpatient care to a university professor, and each experience has deepened my understanding of what it takes to support someone through their struggles.

My approach to therapy

My approach is built on collaboration. I believe that healing is a partnership, and I'll work with you to build a treatment plan that feels right for you. I draw from well-established, evidence-based practices like problem-solving therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, but I always tailor my methods to your unique needs and goals. Together, we'll create a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel empowered to grow.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to the heart of what's challenging you. You'll walk away with practical strategies and a clear path forward, helping you feel more balanced, confident, and ready to face what comes next.
