Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome to my practice! I have 37 years experience in counseling and behavior management with diverse populations. My specialty is providing skills training, therapy, and support to those suffering from uncontrolled emotions such as with the Borderline Personality Disorder. I have an easy going, relaxed approach to caring for others. I am also a Lay Minister and offer Christian counseling to those who prefer having that as a part of their treatment. Your spirituality can be a powerful element of your therapy.

My approach to therapy

After initial assessment, I will work with you at your own speed to develop goals and measure progress in your therapy. I encourage openness and the freedom to direct your treatment. I believe that you have strengths within that can help you recover. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect to be comforted and encouraged to share your story and then focus on treatment solutions. I will conduct a thorough evaluation of your situation including current and past symptoms you are experiencing. Since this is a collaborative effort, we will create a treatment plan with your goals and expectations for both of us.
