Nice to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of NY and a Licensed Professional Counselor-MHSP in the state of TN, and have earned a M.S.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, my approach is based on a foundation of person-centered and humanistic values. I believe that providing a safe, confidential, empathic and nonjudgmental environment is paramount to successful therapy.

In 2018 I received the James F. Doughtery Award for Excellence in Professional Counseling from Alfred University. I look forward to meeting with you and providing a safe, compassionate, and judgement-free space for us to work together toward reaching your personal goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My theoretical orientation is integrated and includes strategies from Narrative, CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, Reality & Solution Focused theories based on each client's needs.

What you can expect from our first session

During our first session, you’ll have the opportunity to share your background, story and goals you hope to achieve in therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel safe and comfortable sharing and being vulnerable. From there we will create a specific and personalized treatment plan and work together in the upcoming sessions to make these goals a reality for you.
