I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families in school, community, and home-based settings. I hold a Master of Social Work from Hunter College (CUNY) with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Individuals and Families, as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a bilingual (Spanish-English) focus.
My clinical work focuses on supporting clients with emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, family conflict, trauma, and life transitions. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and family systems interventions, including Functional Family Therapy (FFT). I also have experience collaborating with schools and caregivers to provide consistent and comprehensive support.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences. I will take time to understand your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy, whether it’s anxiety, depression, emotional challenges, or relationship and family concerns.
Together, we’ll explore your current coping strategies and begin identifying practical tools and approaches to help you manage your emotions, improve communication, and navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to collaborate with you to create a personalized plan for growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
