Great to meet you!

I am a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, both in school settings and in private practice. I earned my Master’s degree from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service and completed my undergraduate studies at Queens College. My work focuses on helping young people navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strengths-based approaches to support clients in building practical skills while recognizing and utilizing their inner strengths. Clients can expect a supportive, collaborative environment where they feel understood and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on helping individuals grow, heal, and recognize the strengths they already possess within themselves. I use a client-focused and strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with clients to build resilience, increase self-awareness, and develop strategies to navigate life’s challenges. By integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to create meaningful changes that align with their personal goals. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. As a bilingual clinician fluent in English and Spanish, I am able to connect with a diverse range of clients and ensure that language is never a barrier to receiving quality care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients can begin to feel comfortable and understand what the therapy process will look like. We will take time to build a positive working relationship while exploring what brings you to therapy and what areas you would like to focus on. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, challenges, and personal goals so we can begin developing a direction for our work together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will move at a pace that allows trust and connection to naturally develop between us. By the end of our initial sessions, the goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and confident that we are working together toward meaningful growth and change.
