Great to meet you!

You feel like you need to “keep it all together” or else everything will fall apart. Or maybe you believe it's necessary to hide parts of yourself to make others more comfortable. Perhaps you’re trying to make sense of why something that happened to you long ago still has such an impact on your life. You yearn for deeper connections with yourself and with others, and to understand what your emotions and urges are trying to do for you. Let’s explore these things together, with patience, compassion, curiosity, and grace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is, first and foremost, humanistic - not just person-first, but person-always. I also have extensive experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the roots of which are inner wisdom, validation, and synthesis. I'm also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Together, we will create a plan that can meet your needs.

What you can expect from me

Folks I work with often tell me they feel like they're talking to a trusted friend; that they feel safe going places they haven't gone before. You've walked through life feeling alone for long enough. There is no better time than now to find what a "life worth living" means for you. Take the first step - you deserve it. Click “Email Me” or go to my website to request a free, no-commitment 15-minute consultation.
