Great to meet you!

I am a married father of adult children. My wife, Jenn, is also a therapist. After studying philosophy and sociology for my undergraduate degree, I was a classroom teacher for 10 years. Towards the end of this period, I returned to school to obtain a master's degree in bioethics. While in this program, I made the decision to pursue a dual master's degree and, ultimately, become a therapist. I have been practicing for the past 13 years. When not working, I enjoy surfing, reading, and cooking.

My approach to therapy

I practice through an intersubjective and existential lens. I attempt to understand clients in the context of their everyday lives in the hope that they reach a deeper of understanding of themselves and their lives. I ask lots of questions and avoid too much interpretation. My relationship and rapport with clients are always primary.

What you can expect from me

I hope that clients leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves and experience a greater sense of freedom and flexibility in their everyday lives.
