Great to meet you!

Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or major life changes begin affecting your relationships, confidence, and overall quality of life. You may feel stuck, frustrated, emotionally drained, or unsure of how to move forward. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management concerns, men's issues, relationship challenges, grief and loss, anger management difficulties, chronic health conditions, and significant life transitions. As a practicing therapist and a veteran employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I understand the unique pressures that can come with service, identity changes, and adapting to new chapters in life. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can openly explore challenges, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that promote growth, resilience, and lasting emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths based, and focused on helping clients create meaningful change. I believe therapy should provide both support and accountability while helping you build on the strengths you already possess. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Behavioral Activation, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based interventions, and Recovery-Oriented approaches. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be contributing to current challenges, develop healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build skills that support long-term growth. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, stress, anger management issues, chronic illness adjustment, or life transitions, therapy will focus on helping you create sustainable progress while remaining aligned with your personal values and goals.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, supportive, and goal-oriented environment where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process. I believe therapy works best when it combines genuine connection with practical tools and measurable progress. As we work together, you may develop stronger coping skills, increased confidence, healthier relationships, improved emotional regulation, and greater resilience when facing life's challenges. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, build momentum toward meaningful change, and develop the skills needed to navigate difficulties with greater clarity and confidence. Positive growth is possible, and you do not have to face challenges alone.
