Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric and Addictions Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in psychiatry for 25 plus years, prescribed medications for 23 years for various conditions. I have also worked with people who struggle with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse issues with a 12-Step and Harm reduction focus. I have a conservative prescribing approach to add to skills you acquire in therapy to improve.

My approach to therapy

I can provide 30 minute medication management sessions monthly to every 3 months depending on your needs and symptoms or we can do more regular 60 minute sessions that include medication management with supportive psychotherapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, I’ll do a psychiatric evaluation and make a medication recommendation if deemed necessary. We'll then discuss if you’re in agreement and if we want to work together and how often.
