Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you're struggling with anxiety, ADHD, mood changes, trauma, relationship challenges, or questions about your identity and direction in life. With more than 35 years of experience in mental health, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults facing anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, stress, grief and loss, anger management challenges, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling frustrated, stuck, misunderstood, or unsure of how to move forward. I believe every person deserves a supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change. Together, we'll explore your experiences, identify strengths, build self-awareness, and develop practical strategies that support emotional wellness, healthier relationships, and long-term personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I believe meaningful change occurs when clients feel supported while also gaining the insight and skills needed to navigate life's challenges more effectively. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions to help clients build resilience and achieve their goals. Depending on your needs, we may focus on managing anxiety, ADHD symptoms, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma recovery, emotional regulation, grief, anger management, relationship concerns, self-esteem, identity development, or stress management. Therapy is designed to help you better understand yourself, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and create sustainable changes that enhance your daily life and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, respectful, and supportive environment where your experiences are valued and your goals guide the therapeutic process. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring challenges while also recognizing your strengths. Together, we'll develop realistic goals and practical strategies that support growth, healing, and greater emotional balance. Through therapy, you may gain increased confidence, healthier coping skills, improved relationships, stronger emotional regulation, and a deeper understanding of yourself. My goal is to help you feel empowered to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and hope for the future.
