Great to meet you!

Juliandra Dear, MEd, LPC is a solution-oriented, compassionate, skilled therapist with 13 years of experience. Earning her Masters in Counseling in 2008 provided a solid foundation for further training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Juliandra has practiced in several different settings, including public schools, a busy group practice, a children's hospital, as well as in her own private practice.

My approach to therapy

Juliandra is unique in her treatment approach in that she focuses on a client's current functioning and targets entities that have a negative impact. She is skilled at creating individualized plans to create more peace and joy in client's lives. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy are her most utilized modalities. However, an eclectic approach using Mindfulness, Person-Centered, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing is also common practice.

What you can expect from me

Clients that work with Juliandra often reveal negative thinking patterns and cognitive distortions. She assists in creating new patterns which causes much needed changes in clients behaviors.
