Great to meet you!

Trained at the doctoral level, I am committed to providing quality, compassionate counseling. I have a special interest and nearly 25 years experience in working with women's issues, cancer patients, relationship/ domestic abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, and grief and bereavement. I am LGBTQ affirming.

I also provide Christian counseling to those who indicate a desire for this type of approach.

My approach to therapy

I believe in an interpersonal approach to therapy, where counseling is a collaborative process between the therapist and client and the therapeutic relationship is key to positive change. The goals of Interpersonal therapy include identifying problems, expressing emotions in a healthy manner and developing skills to improve current relationships.

What you can expect from me

We work together to determine your goals for therapy at our initial assessment and we will incorporate your goals throughout therapy. We will also change or adapt any goals as necessary.
