Great to meet you!

I’m a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of ptherapy experience, specializing in helping adults manage anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma. I also have extensive experience supporting people through major life transitions, big decisions, and building motivation for meaningful change. Figuring out what truly matters to each of us can be hard—sometimes it’s difficult to know what we even want to do differently. If you’re feeling stuck in patterns that aren't working, or you are feeling anxious and overwhelmed, I can help!

I am an Assistant Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine and Program Manager of a PTSD clinic at the VA Boston Healthcare System. I have extensive experience working with veterans, first responders, and others who have experienced trauma. If you feel we'd be a good fit, please reach out to discuss.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, honest, and direct. I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach to help people make changes that align with their values. Therapy begins with understanding your unique needs and hopes for treatment. Together, we develop a treatment plan to reach your goals and assess whether things are working for you.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will work together to identify what is important to you and what you are hoping to get out of treatment. I will listen non-judgmentally and help you start considering what changes you'd like to make.
