Great to meet you!

I have a deep passion for helping others, a natural gift for connecting with people and offering insight that supports their personal growth. In my years of practice I have been committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health care in BIPOC communities; providing culturally open care to help clients feel understood. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, focusing on anxiety, depression, grief, generational trauma, and parental wounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in the belief that therapy is about relationships. I will bring authenticity, understanding and compassion to meet you where you are; to offer a space where you and your experiences are respected and valued

My technique is integrative using principles from Attachment, CBT, Mindfulness and IFS to meet the needs of each client.

.

What you can expect from me

My mission is to guide you in recognizing and addressing unhealthy beliefs, coping mechanisms and patterns.

Together, we'll start on a journey of self-discovery, examining your thoughts, feelings and behaviors to navigate life's challenges. As we explore, you'll begin to see how your responses to present situations are deeply influenced by your personal history, social and cultural background.
