Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Karen Jasso, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with over 5 years of experience in helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I received my masters degree in Clinical Psychology, California State University, Bakersfield.

I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationships, and self-worth and self-esteem. I am passionate about supporting my clients' journeys toward healing and personal growth I provide a culturally sensitive, bilingual space where we work to reduce symptoms, build self-esteem, and create lasting change through healthy coping, boundaries, and routines. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, reading, painting, and running (for fun!). I believe in the importance of self-care and strive to bring balance and mindfulness into my own life. These interests not only rejuvenate me but also help guide me in my practice.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is what I like to call "Rainbow's and Glitter" approach but is really client-centered, integrative, cognitive-behavioral, somatic, internal family systems, and solution -focused. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we will work to identify your goals and develop practical strategies to achieve them. My practice is grounded in cultural sensitivity, empathy, respect, and collaboration, and I tailor my methods to meet you and your unique needs where you are.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a warm, compassionate, judgment free, and safe space. Whether you're dealing with specific issues or seeking personal development, I'm here to support you every step of the way. If you're ready to take the next step, please feel free to reach out for a consultation. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
