Great to meet you!

Therapy is meant to be a completely individual experience and I treat it as such with compassion and cultural humility. My goal as a therapist is to assist you in developing personalized coping skills which foster resilience for challenging life transitions while also helping you to discover your purpose in life. I offer compassionate listening as we work together to find comfort and resolve in the difficult areas of your life, relationships and the challenges you are facing. I have specialized maternal mental health training with Postpartum Virginia Support and I am certified as a marriage facilitator and trainer with Prep/Enrich.

My approach to therapy

I use modern approaches and evidence-based practices which include somatic practices and an Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed framework to fit your individual needs. I have experience living overseas as well as facilitating conferences, mission trips and retreats in Africa, Latin America and Central Asia. I also integrate faith-based counseling for those interested in including Christian beliefs and practices.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I'll ask you some basic questions about your story and current challenges. While listening intently, I will be attuned to your underlying concerns as we work together to map out a way forward.
