Great to meet you!

Stepping into therapy is an act of resilience, and I am here to ensure you don’t have to navigate life’s complexities alone. I am a bilingual LCSW dedicated to supporting adults and couples through the challenges of anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. I specialize in helping individuals break free from the weight of low self-esteem and relationship distress, providing a space where your experiences are validated and your growth is prioritized. I feel privileged to help my clients achieve their goals and improve their lives by helping them cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and their potential.

I believe that therapy is most effective when it feels like a true partnership rooted in authenticity and cultural sensitivity. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language is never a barrier to your healing. I want my clients to feel safe and empowered during their time with me, knowing they have a compassionate advocate who respects their unique cultural background and personal history. When I am not working with clients, I find my own balance through mindfulness and spending time in nature, which allows me to remain present and grounded for those I serve.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, integrative, and deeply client-centered, meaning I tailor my techniques to fit your specific needs rather than following a rigid script. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I hope that my clients will be able to positively grow while working together by developing practical coping skills that they can apply to their daily lives and relationships.

We will focus on building your internal strengths and fostering the self-compassion necessary for lasting change. By combining professional expertise with a down-to-earth perspective, I help you navigate hurdles like workplace stress, family conflict, or identity exploration. Clients should expect to feel heard and supported throughout our time together as we collaboratively create a roadmap that honors your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

Think of our first session as a chance to get comfortable, share your story, and set goals together. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time. I’ll guide you through the process and ease any nerves (which are normal). I’ll explain confidentiality and its limits, guiding you in a safe, supportive space to feel comfortable taking this first step in your healing journey.

We’ll discuss the areas where you feel you need the most support and I'll answer any questions you have about how our partnership will work. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting with a sense of relief and a concrete idea of how we will work together to get you back to a place of confidence and peace.
