Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health clinician who provides thoughtful, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults. I hold a Master’s degree in ClinicalCounseling Psychology and have extensive experience supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress-related concerns.

My clinical approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I draw from evidence-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and psychodynamic and relational frameworks to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for growth.

I am especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, supporting emotional regulation, self-esteem, and academic functioning, as well as helping adults navigate complex life stressors and interpersonal relationships. My goal is to help clients build resilience, insight, and lasting change in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, conversational, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real, supportive relationship rather than a clinical checklist. We work together as a team, and I view clients as active partners in their growth and healing. We will do the work, exploring patterns, building skills, and addressing challenges directly, while also making space for humor, warmth, and laughter along the way.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being honest, curious, and vulnerable. Sessions are often engaging and dynamic, balancing meaningful reflection with practical strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives.

I tailor my approach to each individual and draw from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, relational and attachment-based frameworks, and mindfulness-based practices. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation difficulties.

My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they develop insight, confidence, and sustainable tools for long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive, welcoming, and collaborative experience focused on getting to know one another and building a strong foundation for our work together. We will spend time getting acquainted, discussing what brings you to therapy, and beginning to establish trust and rapport in a comfortable, nonjudgmental space.

The first session also involves thoughtful information gathering, including discussing your personal history, current concerns, strengths, and goals for therapy. This helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of your experiences and what you would like to work toward.

Throughout the session, I take a warm, empathetic, and respectful approach, recognizing that sharing personal history can feel vulnerable. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported from the very beginning. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready for, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.

By the end of the session, we will begin identifying initial goals and next steps, ensuring that you leave feeling grounded, hopeful, and confident about moving forward together.
