Great to meet you!

am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been helping individuals with mental health and professional challenges for over 15 years. My belief is that everyone can use some help at some point in their life. There is not one person that knows the answer to everything and that is okay. My passion is to provide you with the support your need in a safe space to allow you to navigate through any challenge you may be facing.

Therapy is about you, and you are the driver of your sessions. We will work on a plan to get you to your desired goals. Sometimes you just need a nonjudgemental space talk things out to provide you with the clarity you need. I am passionate about you being able to be your authentic self. I have been helping clients for years to learn to let go of things that have been preventing them from moving forward in their relationships, friendships, and careers.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been an effective approach that I have used with children and adults. With this theoretical approach individuals have been able to change their negative thought patterns and behaviors to improve their mental and emotional health.

What you can expect from me

In our first CBT session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, understanding what you’re currently struggling with, and identifying what you hope to achieve in therapy. I’ll explain how CBT works — how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact — and how we can use that framework to help you feel more in control. We’ll start developing goals and a plan for how we’ll move forward together.
