Dr. Kathy Lukey

Hello and congratulations on taking the first step in finding a qualified therapist. My name is Dr. Kathy Lukey a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky and a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio who has been practicing since 1993. I hold a B.A. in Counseling and Rehabilitation, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Doctorate in Counseling Education. I believe life can be both joyful, and difficult at different stages of our path. At times both can be true simultaneously. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore the many thoughts, feelings, and circumstances that brought you here. Let's explore together how you can live a meaningful and joy filled life.

My practice focuses on helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of sexual addiction and betrayal trauma to rebuild healthy, authentic interpersonal connections. Beyond my expertise in intimacy and sexual addiction, I offer specialized support for trauma and depression, tailoring my approach to the distinct psychological needs of men and women. I use integrative strength based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Our first session will focus on creating a non-judgmental warm environment where you can openly share sensitive experiences without shame. You will leave feeling heard, supported, and empowered with strategies to create meaningful change so you can live your best life!
