Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Katie, and I’m a licensed psychotherapist helping people create a life they love. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in publishing at Penguin Random House and previously ran a jewelry line carried in over 250 stores nationwide. After earning my master’s from the Crown Family School of Social Work, I completed my clinical training at UChicago Medicine and LifePath Therapy Associates. Today, I use a combination of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy to support C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, young professionals, writers, and anyone navigating uncertainty to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real partnership: open, honest, and supportive. I blend evidence-based tools such as ACT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy to explore patterns, clarify your goals, and help you build a life you love.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to share what’s going on and what you hope will feel different. I’ll ask questions to learn your story, goals, and what support looks like for you. You can expect a calm, welcoming space where you can be yourself and start to make sense of what you’re navigating. By the end of the session, most people feel more grounded and have a clearer sense of next steps.
