Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides therapy for adolescents (13+), adults, and individuals navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and healing journeys. I believe therapy is a collaborative and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted while working toward meaningful change. I received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Dalton State College and Master's degree in Social Work from Southern Adventist University.

My clinical work focuses on supporting individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use concerns, identity exploration, and the challenges that come with major life transitions. I also have a passion for supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and providing an affirming, inclusive space where individuals can explore their experiences and feel valued for who they are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and individualized. I integrate evidence-based practices while recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. I strive to help clients understand their emotions, build effective coping skills, strengthen relationships, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self.

I believe that people are more than the challenges they are facing. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can show up authentically, explore what has shaped them, and build the tools needed to move forward.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I am honored to support clients wherever they are in their journey.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and intimidating, and my goal is to make the first session a comfortable space where you feel welcomed and understood. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying your goals for treatment.

We will talk about your current challenges, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences and develop a plan that fits your needs and goals.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe to be authentic, explore difficult emotions, and move at a pace that feels appropriate. You can expect a nonjudgmental space where we focus not only on challenges, but also on your resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth.

Together, we may focus on building coping skills, improving emotional regulation, processing past experiences, strengthening relationships, increasing self-understanding, and creating meaningful changes in your life.
