Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Katy. I'm an artist and childcare provider turned therapist. I'm known as "Mama" to two tiny humans and four fur babies. My journey into parenthood hasn't been easy. While it's been deeply rewarding, it also brought old wounds and childhood trauma to the surface - something many caregivers and emerging adults experience but often struggle to name or navigate. That lived experience fuels my passion for helping others move through the complex, beautiful, and often overwhelming seasons of personal growth.

Living in today’s world can feel like an endless balancing act. It’s easy to pour so much of yourself into surviving or supporting that you lose sight of who you are. I specialize in supporting caregivers and emerging adults - helping them reconnect with parts of themselves that feel lost, neglected, or just out of reach.

One quote I hold close is: "I am not what happened to me. I am who I choose to become." I believe we all have the power to reshape our stories and choose how we show up in life. In our work together, we’ll create a safe space to explore, heal, and grow - so you can become the person you're ready to be.

My approach to therapy

I like to get to know my clients first to understand what approaches will best support their unique needs. I take an integrative approach, often drawing from expressive therapies, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and CBT.

What you can expect from me

Together, we'll develop a personalized plan to help you move forward with clarity and confidence into the next chapter of your life. Through this process, we'll explore how the systems you live within - family, culture, community - interact with and impact your mind, body, and heart.
