Great to meet you!

As a Christian Trauma Specialist with over 25 years of clinical experience, I specialize in the treatment of trauma, helping individuals heal from the profound impacts of traumatic experiences. Holding a Doctorate in Christian Counseling and being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have more than 18 years of extensive experience providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other evidence-based trauma interventions, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in trauma conscious care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized, compassionate, and effective treatment. I understand the unique challenges trauma presents, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where healing can take place. Through the integration of these proven therapeutic techniques, I work to help individuals process their trauma and achieve lasting emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Individuals can expect to leave each session with a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences, especially in relation to trauma. I work with individuals to help them process and heal from past trauma, develop healthier coping strategies, and build emotional resilience. Through evidence-based treatments, individuals often experience reduced symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, while gaining tools to manage stress and improve their overall well-being.

Beyond healing, individuals can expect a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, ensuring that individuals not only feel comfortable processing difficult emotions but also leave each session with greater clarity, hope, and a stronger sense of control over their journey toward healing.
