Great to meet you!

I began my own journey in counseling at a young age and saw the differences in made in my life. I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas Tech University and my master's degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. My experience has come from working in private practice, rehab centers, psychiatric hospitals, and behavioral centers for children.

My approach to therapy

I am open-minded, non-judgmental, and direct. I primarily use dialectical behavior therapy, and with this approach comes a teacher/student relationship to help clients learn specific skills needed to regulate their emotions and process events.

What you can expect from me

My passion and interest are in helping my clients accomplish their goals. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in a collaborative approach to increase their empowerment and obtain coping skills for emotion regulation. I want my clients to leave their sessions feeling confident in controlling their emotions and not allowing emotions to control them.
