Great to meet you!

I work with those who are navigating major life transitions, struggling to reflect and cope with what is happening within them. My clients are high functioning and often the go-to person for their community, but quietly struggle with anxiety, depression, or past trauma. I create a calm space where you can reflect and change things that are keeping you stuck.

I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. I also spent two additional post-graduate years at Denver Family Institute, gaining further training in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist Candidate in the state of Colorado.

My approach to therapy

My clients describe me as humorous, warm, a wise sounding board, and intentional about honoring clients' diverse backgrounds in our work. I use attachment-based and trauma-informed methods to provide the right support for each client, with my main approach being rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

I specialize in helping those who are experiencing relational conflict, life stress, emotion dysregulation, and trauma. I work with individuals and couples who are looking to dig deeper. I love working with clients who are ready to give an honest look at themselves, ready for something to change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I seek to understand your present experience as well as the past contexts that shape it. From there we'll explore your story to find meaning, understanding, and pursue the change you're looking for. I will support you in building awareness of the patterns and cycles that keep you stuck, as well as build empathy for why those patterns happen in the first place.
