Great to meet you!

Hi! Great to meet you.

As a board certified and licensed clinical mental health therapist, I am of the belief that individuals who experience deeper healing go on to lead more stable, fulfilling, and joyous lives. Seeking help can be extremely intimidating! I'm here to help you navigate those first steps to making it a smooth transition into therapy so that you may reap the rewards. I've been practicing since 2020, with my main focus being trauma and complex trauma in older teens and adults (aged 16+).

My approach to therapy

Trauma, and complex trauma, can show up in countless ways. One of the main indicators is what may feel like lack of connection between your brain, body, and soul - rather, you don't feel, or act, as your authentic self. Two years into my work as a therapist, I realized that talk therapy can only go so far, when you are working with trauma; becoming specialized in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a leading therapy modality in healing trauma, was a game-changer. As partners in your therapeutic journey, open communication will assist in personalizing your care. I'll be there to listen to you, offer different perspectives, and support you as you grow.

What you can expect from me

In your introductory session, you'll have the opportunity to share your story and the goals you hope to meet through treatment. Remember, this is not all on you to figure out - we will collaborate and figure it out together! Everyone has the right to healing in an emotionally safe space. If you decide that we might be a good fit to start your journey together, we'll work together in the sessions that follow to help you achieve your goals, healing, and gain long-term resilience.
