Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kelsey Ridlen, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I earned my nursing degree from the University of Kentucky and my master's degree in psychiatric nursing from Northern Kentucky University. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free—I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them find practical solutions that support their goals and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, personalized, and focused on the whole person. I take time to understand your unique experiences, goals, and challenges so we can create a treatment plan that feels right for you. I provide evidence-based medication management and supportive therapy, with a special interest in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, and mood disorders. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to treatment. I'll ask questions about your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current concerns, and goals so I can gain a complete understanding of your needs. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss options that may include medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or other supportive resources. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and confident about the next steps in your care.
