Great to meet you!

I am a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional based in Atlanta GA. My areas of expertise include Veterans, depression, and complex trauma. I have a passion for working with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, complex trauma, career/life transitions, PTSD, and depression. I received my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia and MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In a world that is constantly changing, it can be difficult to keep a pace that feels comfortable and productive. In therapy we will work together to develop awareness of how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect one another, build skills to handle difficult emotions and make behavior change, and practice these skills in a variety of situations so you may be able to support yourself moving forward.

What you can expect from our first session

Your time is limited, and the multiple roles you juggle can become quite overwhelming at times. If you have reached a point where old coping skills no longer work, or you are looking to find healthier ways to cope with life challenges, I am here and ready to help. Each of us has the inner wisdom to overcome hardships, and I am here to help guide you in finding your voice.
