Great to meet you!

Hi! Thanks for considering working with me. I enjoy helping couples understand the role of intimacy, communication, and self-development in relationships. I earned both my doctorate and master's degree from Mercer University and my undergradate degree from Florida A & M University. I can assist you with working through your relationship concerns, and support you with work/life balance, procrastination, life transitions, setting boundaries, managing anxiety and more.

My approach to therapy

I use empathy and acceptance to assist with activating wellness within oneself and your relationships. I believe thought-based interventions are beneficial as well as providing homework assignments between sessions to help support you in moving forwards with your goals.

What you can expect from me

The first time we meet will feel more like an interview. I want to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy and how your concerns are getting in the way of what you want. The session might feel one sided because you will be doing most of the sharing and that is normal. After the first session, together we will discuss your goals and then going forward I will share interventions to help support what you are working towards.
