Great to meet you!

I hold a BA in Social Work from Seton Hall University, and an MSW from Rutgers. I have been in practice for the last ten years, with a specific focus and enjoyment for working with anxiety disorders. I also enjoy working with couples to foster communication skills and understanding.

My approach to therapy

I often use humor, and I take a very warm approach to my engagement. I frequently employ CBT, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, DBT informed treatment, stress reduction models, and other treatment modalities as needed.

What you can expect from me

The first session is typically used to get an understanding of what is bringing you in, the goal, and initial planning for what we would like to work on. I think it is important to get the whole picture of a person, and that is what we try to do in the first session.
