Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 25 years, but in the last decade, have shifted my main focus to clients aged 21+ who are struggling with anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll walk your therapeutic journey as a collaborative team. It’s important to me that we communicate openly, honestly in an environment free from shame and guilt where you feel respected in our collaborative partnership. I’ll be there to listen to you, respectfully challenge you, and support you, all while maintaining your dignity.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
