Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I am thrilled and so glad you’ve arrived—this is a safe space for you to be seen, heard, and supported! I have been in the mental health field for over 10 years and licensed in FL for 3 years. My work is rooted in care that is inclusive and affirming of all identities. I am proudly supportive of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, human rights, equity, and belonging. While I identify as agnostic, I welcome and respect all religious and spiritual backgrounds. Your beliefs, identity, and lived experiences are respected here. Let’s turn this corner of your journey into a place of growth, healing, and maybe a little fun too!

I value using EMDR (when clinically appropriate) and somatic exercises as an empowering approach that I hope will help prospective clients move through anxiety, perfectionism, phobias, trauma, and women’s issues.I am continually honored to accompany clients in this work.

Many clients come to therapy feeling like they “should” be able to manage on their own, especially those who have learned to be high-achieving, caring, or emotionally self-sufficient.

My approach to therapy

It's important for prospective clients to know that therapy is a collaborative process. The client and I will work together to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, aiming to identify patterns and develop strategies for change. Building a strong therapeutic alliance, characterized by trust, is essential for effective therapy. My goal is for clients to feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions in the therapeutic space without fear of judgment. This open communication helps in setting realistic goals and making meaningful progress.I am a firm believer in compassionate and collaborative care. I look forward to helping clients become the best version of themselves. It's important for prospective clients to know that therapy is a collaborative process. What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can be a significant and positive step toward mental and emotional well-being. The first session typically involves several key elements designed to make the process comfortable and informative. Initially, I will likely begin with introductions and a brief overview of their background, qualifications, and approach to therapy. This helps to build a foundation of trust and understanding, crucial for a therapeutic relationship. Following the introductions, I will likely ask you to share the reasons that brought you to therapy. This conversation may include discussing any current struggles, past experiences, or goals you have for your mental health. Lastly, I will explain the practical aspects of therapy, such as confidentiality, session structure, and any policies regarding cancellations or fees.
