Great to meet you!

With a compassionate approach, I provide a safe and welcoming environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I am committed to helping clients navigate everyday life struggles to find a path towards empowerment and growth.

Gentle Note: I am a firm believer of upholding boundaries and clear communication, thus I maintain the no show and cancellation fees as signed in the intake form. Although 24hr cancellation is highly appreciated, I understand emergencies happen and am willing to work with clients that communicate these concerns as soon as possible. “As soon as possible” is deemed within 3-5 hours of the missed session time prior to completion of all practice billing at the end of business day. Rescheduling and waived fees can be considered if client communicates within the aforementioned time window.

I do not provide services to clients who are actively suicidal, homocidal, and exhibit self harming behaviors as high risk clients cannot ethically be accepted for treatment via telehealth. I encourage all prospective clients struggling with these concerns to please contact a provider that specializes in these concerns. I also do not provide assistance with custody issues.

A demographic that I hold near and dear to my heart are women experiencing emotional distress due to reproductive health challenges and young adults identifying as LGBTQIA+. I aim to foster a supportive, warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental atmosphere. If you are seeking professional guidance and support to address issues with: boundary setting, interpersonal relationships, communication, effective coping, body positivity, and self-esteem, I am here to assist you on your path to emotional wellness and self-discovery.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to be heard and feel seen. I firmly believe that everyone deserves quality care. Pro-BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Human Rights, Equity & Inclusion. I identify as Agnostic, however, all religious denominations are welcome and highly respected.

It's important for prospective clients to know that therapy is a collaborative process. The client and I will work together to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, aiming to identify patterns and develop strategies for change. Building a strong therapeutic alliance, characterized by trust, is essential for effective therapy. My goal is for clients to feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions in the therapeutic space without fear of judgment. This open communication helps in setting realistic goals and making meaningful progress.I am a firm believer in compassionate and collaborative care. What you can expect from our first session

Starting therapy can be a significant and positive step toward mental and emotional well-being. The first session typically involves several key elements designed to make the process comfortable and informative. Initially, I will likely begin with introductions and a brief overview of their background, qualifications, and approach to therapy. This helps to build a foundation of trust and understanding, crucial for a therapeutic relationship. Following the introductions, I will likely ask you to share the reasons that brought you to therapy. This conversation may include discussing any current struggles, past experiences, or goals you have for your mental health. Lastly, I will explain the practical aspects of therapy, such as confidentiality, session structure, and any policies regarding cancellations or fees.
