Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Kiley Huntington. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have been very fortunate to work with a wide spectrum of populations/people, which has strengthened my belief in the importance of people and respect for autonomy in the journey of life.

My approach to therapy

My primary goal is to create a warm, safe, and collaborative space where you feel truly seen and heard. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to act as a compassionate guide.

My approach is integrative and person-centered, which means I tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals. We'll draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to develop practical skills for managing anxiety and negative thoughts, while also gently exploring how past experiences may be impacting your present.

Together, we will work to build insight, identify your strengths, and help you develop the tools to live a more authentic and fulfilling life

What you can expect from me

I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating. My main goal for our first session is simple: for you to feel safe, comfortable, and truly heard.

This first meeting is low-pressure. We'll start by briefly going over the basics, like confidentiality. After that, the time is ours to gently explore what’s bringing you in. I'll invite you to share your story, but you are in complete control of what you share and the pace we go.

This session is also just as much about you getting to know me and deciding if I feel like the right fit for you. You can ask me any questions you have. By the end, my hope is that you'll feel understood and we'll have a beginning sense of what our work together could look like.
