Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of experience in the counseling and medical fields, I bring seasoned clinical expertise and deep compassion to my work. I specialize in Major Depressive Disorders and a wide range of mental health concerns, including crisis counseling and complex case management. My practice is uniquely attuned to the needs of State and Federal Government employees in the District, offering a high level of clinical maturity, discretion, and culturally informed care.

My approach to therapy

I integrate Psychodynamic theory, humor and Empowerment within a strengths-based, Internal Family Systems-informed approach to counseling. My work is rooted in deep respect for the human spirit, offering confidence and adoption coaching, expressive arts, and Soul Care to help clients navigate the weight of life’s hardest moments. I specialize in working with survivors of ritualistic-religious cults, as well as individuals facing crisis, Attachment Disorders, PTSD, Major Depression, Complicated Grief, and Dissociative Disorders.

What you can expect from me

It is always my professional goal for my clients to complete each counseling session having a greater sense of who they are. Even, if that is uncomfortable.
