Great to meet you!

Everyone deserves to achieve the life they want without facing barriers and stigma of society. I have spent my life working with and advocating for vulnerable populations. My work with underserved populations has been recognized and awarded by organizations such as the National Board of Certified Counselors and the YWCA. I am deeply passionate about promoting equity and inclusion in all areas of life, including providing specialized mental health care and education to the community.

My approach to therapy

Work is hard, relationships are hard, life is hard. Struggles and challenges are part of the deal, but they do not define us. Our power to overcome and move through the hard times form who we are. It is my hope to help you discover your innate power in healing, not in an absence of pain, but with an abundance of strength and skill.

What you can expect from me

I work with my clients to build acceptance, insight, and skills that assist them in the healing process. However, as with any other skill, it takes practice to master. My approach to therapy requires participation from the client in helping them move towards their therapeutic goals.
